Digital Animation & Video Seminar
Approximately more than 650 local CG and 3D animation buffs registered and / or attended a one-day Digital Animation and Video Seminar organized by Click Grafix on 20 November 2001. The free seminar, which was held in Eastin Hotel attracted many professionals from various industries as well as students from various local colleges and universities.

The event was separated into morning and afternoon sessions. Participants who attended the Video seminar in the morning were treated to a sneak preview of NewTek’s revolutionary Video Toaster 2, popularly labeled as “the TV-studio-in-a-box”.

The highlight of the seminar included a presentation by our special guest who was none other than Emmy nominee Robert Baldwin, who treated those present with a sneak peak of ‘The Making of “Invader Zim”, a TV series for Nickelodeon.

Baldwin was also accompanied by several key representatives from NewTek and Realviz - Art Howe (NewTek’s 3D Product Manager), Rob Hoffmann (Director of Marketing, 3D), Donatien Monod (Realviz’s Managing Director - Asia Pacific Operations) as well as another application specialist from Realviz, who flew in specially to join us in this seminar. The representatives presented many interesting demos on LightWave 3D and Sitcher 3.1 during the afternoon session.
